Lake Lure, North Carolina, is a picturesque town located in the western part of the state. It is known for several unique features and attractions that make it a special destination. It is known for its scenic Beauty: Lake Lure is famous for its stunning natural beauty. The town is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is surrounded by lush forests and the crystal-clear waters of Lake Lure itself. The area's breathtaking scenery has made it a popular filming location for movies and television shows. We have many year-round activities available in and near our area, including white water rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, snow skiing/tubing, golf, wineries and breweries, spectacular fall color season and much more!

STORM UPDATE 2025 - all Lake Lure businesses including grocery store and restaurants are open. Chimney Rock State Park is open as well as some stores in Chimney Rock. The lakes and beach in Riverbend are open for swimming, boating and fishing. They were not affected by the storm. The big lake, Lake Lure, remains a beautiful backdrop for the area but is not yet open for swimming or boating as of Aug 2025. All nearby surrounding mountain towns are open and welcoming visitors!

 

We offer DIRECT BOOKING with no "booking fees", which have increased substantially on the big booking sites. We have eight log vacation homes available; all located in beautiful Lake Lure NC. We have a beachfront condo in North Myrtle Beach. We own and manage our vacation rentals. All of our cabins are family and dog friendly, except the beach condo which does not allow pets.
